About Connection and Company Counseling
At Connection & Co., we provide mental health and sex therapy in a safe, judgment-free space for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. Our goal is to create an environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and intimate experiences openly without fear of stigma or misunderstanding.
Our Mission
To empower clients to feel seen, heard, and supported in every aspect of their mental health and sexual well-being. We strive to normalize conversations about sex, intimacy, and identity while fostering connection, growth, and self-understanding..
Our Purpose
We exist to make therapy accessible, affirming, and relevant to communities often underserved by traditional mental health care. Whether working individually or in couples therapy, our purpose is to help clients navigate life’s challenges, enhance intimacy, and build authentic, fulfilling connections with themselves and others.
Hey there, I’m Jasmine Warren,
founder of Connection & Company Counseling PLLC.
I work with individuals and partners who feel disconnected from themselves, their relationships, or their sense of identity and are ready to explore what feels true for them. Many of my clients are navigating intimacy, emotional closeness, and the impact of cultural, family, or religious expectations.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master’s in social work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. My background includes work in crisis response and college counseling centers, where I supported clients through high-stress, transitional, and often vulnerable moments. In those roles, I worked in more generalized settings and began to notice major gaps in therapy when it came to conversations around sex and intimacy, and even fewer therapists who felt comfortable going there. But not here, not with me. I chose to lean into the uncomfortable because there is a real need for more spaces where people can talk openly, safely, and without shame. I also hold a Sex Therapy Certificate from the University of Michigan, which informs my work around intimacy, desire, and sexual wellness.
My work is especially affirming of LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and non-monogamous individuals and partners. As an African American woman raised in a deeply Christian and conservative environment, I understand firsthand how powerful and sometimes limiting those influences can be. That lived experience is part of what allows me to connect with clients in a way that feels real, not clinical or distant.
In our work together, I’m not a blank slate therapist. I’m engaged, honest, and collaborative. I hold space for you with empathy and care while also gently challenging you when needed. Therapy with me is a place for both support and growth, where you can explore your thoughts, your relationships, and your identity in a way that feels aligned with who you are.
